    Day 1: Fes» Ifrane» Azrou» Midelt» Merzouga Desert

    These 5 days Morocco tour itinerary will begin with an early pick-up from your accommodation Hotel/Riad or airport in Fes. After that, we’ll set off towards the Middle Atlas Mountains to Ifrane, a city known as the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ for its architecture and cool climate. Afterward, we continue to the cedar forest of Azrou, home to the Barbary macaques. Here, we’ll make a short stop to capture some fun photos with these friendly creatures.

    After enjoying free time for lunch in Midelt, we’ll then drive along the Ziz valley, enjoying stunning panoramic views of the palm trees. From there, we pass through the fossil-rich town of Erfoud to the Sahara Desert. As soon as we arrive at Merzouga, a sea of sand dunes stretches as far as the eye can see. You’ll switch to camels and embark on a nomadic experience you’ll never forget. Along the way, a break is planned to climb a high dune and witness the magical sunset.

    As you reach your desert camp, you’ll be welcomed by a cup of mint tea for hospitality, then relax in your tent. After a delicious dinner, the desert comes alive with the heartbeat rhythms of Berber drums and dancing around the campfire, all under the broad canvas of the starry desert sky.

    Day 2: Merzouga Excursion» Khamlia» Desert Mines» Visit Nomad Family

    Wake up early is recommended to watch the sun rising over the dunes. After enjoying breakfast our desert trip will begins, our first stop? The Khamlia, where locals practice Gnawa folklore, originating from South African countries. Prepare to be enchanted by the soulful melodies of Gnawa music and their traditional dances.

    Afterwards, the journey takes us on an off-road trip to Mifis, a historical site formerly known as a kohl mining site. Here, discover the secrets of this ancient eye cosmetic, commonly used as eyeliner. Subsequently, we’ll visit an authentic nomadic family to discover their traditional lifestyle under a hand-woven tent. Enjoy a warm cup of tea with them as you learn about their daily routine.

    Following this, it’s on to Khamlia where you can taste the flavors of Medfouna (Berber pizza). Finally, check into your hotel to complete the day. By late afternoon, if you feel adventurous, you can partake in quad biking or buggy driving.

    Day 3: Merzouga Desert» Rissani» Erfoud» Todra Gorges» Dades Valley

    After breakfast, we’ll leave the Sahara desert and continue to Boumalne Dades. Our first stop will be at Rissani, famous for being the ancient capital of Tafilalet and its traditional market. Imagine wandering through the streets of this market, alive with the sights, sounds, and scents of local life, especially on market days: Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. 
     
    Afterwards, we’ll drive on the road of a thousand Kasbah towards the Todra Gorges. These towering cliffs reach heights of up to 300 meters, making them a haven for climbers. The scenery is simply amazing, offering panoramic vistas that will take your breath away.
     
    After enjoying a nice walk by the river, we continue to Dades Valley, known for its green valleys and surreal rock formations. We’ll stop to admire the “Monkey Fingers” geological structures, sculpted by the forces of the wind. Finally, continue to your accommodation, relax, and enjoy the panoramic views of the valley.

    Day 4:  Dades Valley» Rose Valley» Skoura Oasis» Ouarzazate

    After breakfast, we set off to explore Kalaa Mgouna. Here, thousands of blooms rise in springtime to create an array of rose products. After that, we’ll drive through the Skoura palm groves, a verdant paradise in the middle of the desert, here, we’ll explore the ancient Kasbah of Amridil that’s been there since the 17th century, reflecting the Berber heritage.

    After that, we continue to Ouarzazate known as the Hollywood of Morocco to visit The Kasbah of Taourirt was built in the 19th century and was owned by the El Glaoui family. We may also visit the Atlas Studios to enjoy the magic of the studios, where many famous Hollywood films were shot around the world, such as Prison Break and The Mummy…etc. Finally, we’ll continue to your accommodation for a relaxing overnight stay.

    Day 5:   Ouarzazate» Ait Ben Haddou» Telouet Kasbah» Marrakech 

    This morning after breakfast, we’ll start exploring the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has been a Hollywood filming location, time and again. Wander through its streets and feel the history within its towering mud-brick walls. From there the road continue to Telouet Kasbah is a hidden spot boasts a rich history and architectural marvels that will leave you in awe.

    After lunch, we’ll drive to Marrakech via Tizi N’tichka pass at an altitude of 2660 meters with stops for panoramic views. By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Marrakech. Your driver will drop you off either at the airport or your accommodation. And with that your 5 day Morocco tour with us ends. Until we meet again, safe travels.
