We offer an amazing day trip from Fes to Rabat. This includes comfortable, air-conditioned transport that picks you up from your hotel or riad and drives you to Morocco’s capital and most important city, ‘Rabat’. Major attractions include the Medina, Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, Sherah and Udayas.

Around 8:00 am, your driver will pick you up and drive you to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, in an air-conditioned vehicle. We have several stops along the way if you want to take pictures and enjoy the cool air. When you arrive in Rabat, begin your exploration of the city with Hassan Tower, a famous unfinished mosque where you can see the stork’s nest and has a key location overlooking the Boulegreg River. The Mausoleum of Mohammed V sits next to the tower and is adorned with beautiful bright stained-glass windows, marble and ironwork entrances and numerous staircases leading to a high dome.
Afterwards, stop by the Boulegreg River and head to the Oudayas Kasbah, built during the Almohad period (1121-1269) and originally used as a wall to protect the city. Next, proceed to the impressive gates of Oudaya, representing Almohad’s military architecture. Visit the Oudayas Museum and Moulay His Ismail Palace, which house a fine collection of traditional Moroccan art. You will have time to relax in the Moorish Andalusian gardens.
There is so much to see today and then you can explore the magnificent ancient Roman port of Sierra. Also, don’t miss the lush modern medina, grand boulevards, boulevards dotted with brand new apartments, Moroccan banks and railways. Every city you visit has both the Old Medina and the New Medina. After visiting New Medina, head to Old Medina. Wander through a maze of bustling souks, craft shops and Jewish quarters. Finally, return to your car and your driver will take you back to Fez.
