Your journey begins in Fez where you will meet your guide and drive towards the desert. Along the way, you’ll pass the stunning cedar forests of Azrou, known for its beautiful trees and Barbary Macaque population. Then drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach the charming town of Midelt. You can have lunch here and relax. After lunch, continue your journey to Merzouga, a small village on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, meet your camel caravan and embark on a magical trek through the desert. Witness breathtaking sunsets and sunrises and experience the peaceful serenity of the desert.
Your camel trek will take you to a Berber camp where you will spend the night under a blanket of stars. Enjoy traditional Berber music, dancing and a delicious campfire dinner. You can also sleep in a traditional nomadic tent or under the stars.
Rise early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the desert before enjoying a traditional breakfast. Afterwards, ride your camel back to Merzouga and meet your driver for the journey back to Fez.
